Happy NEW YEAR Everyone! Welcome 2016!

year in review

I want to thank everyone who has supported, inspired or just made an impact on my creative life and career in 2015. So much has happened in the last year and I have developed tremendously both creatively and as a person. I have graduated with a BFA in Illustration and relocated to the inspiring New York City. I have had amazing opportunities along the way and I feel truly fortunate to be abe to follow my dream of becoming a freelance artist. Here is a bit of my creative year 2015 in review. I am so excited for all the projects to come in 2016. Thank you for following Olivia Linn Illustration 🙂
I wish you all a creative and productive new year!

December 23rd – The birth of a savior. For the most part I try to keep my work religious neutral, but it felt appropriate to have one religious entry this close to Christmas. This card is for all my religious followers or for you who just appreciates the beautiful scenery of the historical Bethlehem. “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a savior which is Christ the Lord” Luke 2:11. This is the 23rd illustration in my Christmas coloring card series.

December 22nd – The little Drummer Boy’s carol. I am a little behind posting my Christmas calendar this year, but better late than never! This illustrated christmas card is in attribute to one of my favorite english christmas carols the little drummer boy, as well as one of my favorite danish christmas songs that mentions a little drum hanging on the Christmas tree. All in all I find that the drum is a lovely symbol of the joyous music that enchants us during the holiday season. This is the 22nd illustration in my Christmas coloring card series.
