Sleeping Fox – Inktober 21

For Inktober 21st I did a cute little sleeping fox. I have been drawings a lot of more realistic or pattern inspired animals in the last few years and though it would be really fun to try to do something small, simple and cute. This is the second in a little mini series.

A child in flight

For my seventh inktober drawing I wanted to challenge myself and draw another child. I have somehow managed to avoid drawing people for a few years while working as a freelance illustrator and wanted to use inktober this year to challenge myself in several areas. I normally don’t draw people or use color much, so my goal is to have at least one forth of my inktober drawings include human characters and all be done in color! I feel like I am making good progress thus far 🙂

A small snail on a big adventure

A recently acquired a fascination with mushrooms. I find them so beautiful in their own unique way. They are so colorful and decorate the forest immensely in the autumn months. They look powerful but they are eminently soft and fragile at the same time and can be destroyed by almost anything. Here is a small illustration of a couple of different mushrooms for my 6th inktober drawing. Only the smallest animals can climb them without ruining them. Here’s a small snail on a big adventure.
